International Blues Challenge
Maritimes to Memphis

Maritimes to Memphis, Be Part of the Journey is an annual blues challenge event hosted by the East Coast Blues Society, this competition includes a Solo/Duo category and a Band category.

The 2024 event will take place on Sept 15 at the MicMac Amateur Aquatic Club (MicMac AAC). The winners in each category will travel to Memphis TN. to represent the Maritimes in the International Blues Challenge to be held Jan 7-11, 2025.

The Maritimes to Memphis Challenge will be judged by independent judges, it should be noted that the East Coast Blues Society does not decide on the winners of the competition.

The scoring criteria, used by the judges, are based on Blues Content, Vocals, Talent, Originality and Stage Presence.

Winners will also be required to take part in a ECBS fundraiser event Blues Christmas planned for Dec 14, 2024.
